Gorge Ride......Final

Mike how was the ride??

At the peak after a solid 1:20 of climbing...good tempo / effort, we flew by several people in the last 2-3 miles of the climb

Overall, the ride was great. BEAUTIFUL scenery, great friends and the heat wasn't really an issue. Got in around 6K of climbing so will definitely be moving a bit slow during the beginning of the ride tomorrow!

Excellent job with the camera, Mike!

That was an amazing ride...why didn't we do it sooner?

Next year, training for IM Canada, that route will become very familiar to us, I think. You can't beat 14-straight miles of climbing to get ready for Richter Pass and Yellow Lake!

What an excellent ride. That picture on the bridge showing where you guys started really put things in perspective! That route looks gorgeous with all the trees lining both sides!

Awesome photos Mike. I don't know what's harder to believe, that you had never biked there before or that you only saw 4-5 cars.
