The Big Zero

I knew it was going to be a strange day today when I walked outside to SNOW! Doesn't happen too often around here since we are only at 200ft above sea level. It really started dumping when I got to work...just huge snowflakes....very cool. I had a bag full of layers to tackle any weather condition except maybe snow! ;-) Steven, in gump-like fashion, was correct...you never know what you are gonna get up here....

In the end it didn't matter though....the snow fizzled out along with my chances of getting in a lunch workout...i figured it wasn't an issue since I was just going to hit the pool...still time to run after work....ended up buried at work until 7pm....after being chained to my desk all day, I was done mentally....didn't feel like running at that point...

So....the big fat zero today...as in zero workouts...gotta keep those zeros to a minimum!

I'll call it an unplanned rest day....I had good intentions though....hope that counts for sumthin! I'm still motivated....just a bit burned out tonight.......

where's that TV remote? ;-)

*peace*

Lots of us are logging a big fat goose egg today. It'll just make tomorrow's workouts that much better. Rest well!

Don't sweat the zero's. You know the body grows stronger when it is resting, not when it is training. But, yes, keep them to a minimum between now and Pac Crest and IMC.
